On behalf of our Client, we are now searching for a trusted

PEOPLE BUSINESS PARTNER

who will bring People & Culture closer to the business, lead the Latvia P&C team, and turn people priorities into practical solutions with visible impact.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted People business partner for business leaders on daily People & Culture topics, supporting strategical and practical decisions, leadership practices and strong team culture.
• Lead Latvia People & Culture team, ensuring clear priorities, collaboration and high-quality local support.
• Support employee relations topics across the employee lifecycle, providing practical guidance and balanced communication.
• Drive local implementation of People & Culture processes, tools and initiatives, including work ability, wellbeing, onboarding and learning.
• Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment priorities, employer brand activities and culture development in line with business needs.
• Support performance, reward and compensation processes, ensuring consistency with Stockmann’s People & Culture principles.
• Use People & Culture data and insights to support leadership discussions, engagement, workforce planning and decision-making.
• Support change and organizational development initiatives with a clear, structured and people-focused approach.

To succeed in this role, your experience should include:

• Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid experience in HR roles such as HRBP, HR Generalist, HR Specialist or similar, in an international environment; retail and people leadership experience are considered an advantage.
• Hands-on experience advising leaders and supporting teams in daily People & Culture matters.
• Good understanding of Latvian employment legislation, HR processes, employee relations, performance management and people development.
• Experience with salary grading, salary analyses and salary review processes.
• Confidence working with HR data and insights, MS Office and HR systems.
• Fluent Latvian and English, both written and spoken.
